Church events held on church premises (both indoors and outdoors) may continue to occur in accordance with the density limits outlined under the Industry Plan for Places of Worship. Church events held in public places or homes are restricted to a maximum of 10 people in the greater Brisbane area or a maximum of 30 people in the rest of the State.

Season of Creation (1 Sept to 4 Oct) is a time to renew our relationship with our Creator and all creation through celebration, conversion, and commitment together. The Anglican Board of Mission has produced a series of studies, Climate for Change, that address the climate crisis and challenge the Church to respond. These studies are suitable to engage with during the Season of Creation or at other times.

On 1 July 2021 our Torres Strait Islander communities will celebrate the 150th anniversary of the ‘Coming of the Light’, commemorating the arrival of missionaries, including Anglicans, to their islands. Dr Aunty Rose Elu from NATSIAC is keen to locate descendants of the 19th century missionaries so they can be invited to the Brisbane re-enactment and service celebrations.
